There are many names for this camp: “where boys turn into men” or “the camp of growth”. This reputation made it irritable to wait for the day. When it finally came, I prepared myself for all the hectic stuff that was about to unfold. I handed in my ticket and found a bunch of my friends. Together, we waited for the camp to start. While we waited, they provided a variety of games, such as a giant wet slide down the big bank, football, and a bunch of other amazing games.
Once it started, they split us up into our classes, and we had a “who’s the best class” competition. My class was dedicated and were willing to do anything to win. The class games went on till 9:00 and we played so many games, such as dodgeball tennis with our legs, touch rugby, and even had water balloon fights. In the end, we came 3rd. It was starting to get late so they made us sleep—, keep in mind that it was past 12!
For some, t he morning sun beamed across our faces, waking us up; for most, however, it wasn’t the sun. The leaders had pranked us overnight! People were waking up with shaving cream or even frogs all over their faces!
This camp was amazing and I can tell you now, it can really turn you into a Griffin.
